Alexa (Lexi) Stern
Alexa is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian. She is currently working at The Royal Children's Hospital as the Lead Adolescent Medicine Dietitian. Prior to working at Royal Children's Hospital, she worked at Monash Childrens Hospital since 2019 and prior to that she worked at Austin Health. Alexa completed her Masters of Dietetics and she has been working as a Dietitian since 2018.
Alexa enjoys working with all stages of life from 0-19 years old.

She is a credentialed Eating Disorder clinician and has undertaken additional training in the Monash FODMAP course and both completed and presents regularly at the Royal Children's Paediatric Nutrition Course. Alexa has presented at the Australia and New Zealand Eating Disorder Academy conference and provides lectures to health professionals. Alexa has always had a passion for working as a Paediatric Dietitian.
She endeavours to provide evidence based care that is patient and family centred. She strives to work with the young person and their family to achieve their nutritional goals. Alexa nurtures a positive relationship with food and body image and sets out to help the young person establish a nutritional and lifestyle routine that will see them long into adulthood. She creates a collaborative environment, tailoring the consult to the individual. She acknowledges there is not one size fits all.
In her spare time she loves to dance, paddle board and walk her dog.
